Maybe nobody but the player himself expects the Suns to consider taking
Nevada guard Kirk Snyder with the No. 7 pick, but freezing Snyder out of the
top 10 of Thursday's draft would be a mistake if Snyder's game proves as
strong as his confidence.

"I'm going to be Rookie of the Year," Snyder said matter of factly after
working out for the Suns on Friday. "That's going to happen. So that's
that."
