Bubble guys do not get inducted into the Basketball HOF. All three of these guys were top 5 players in their eras and I'd venture to say that all three would be top 10 today. Ha! Bubble girls get included in the basketball hall of fame. Mediocre Russian players get inducted into the basketball hall of fame. The basketball hall of fame is the least exclusive of any major sport, and possibly many of the minor sports. If someone has heard of you, and you played more than 22 minutes, you are eligible, and likely. I know, it's an exaggeration, but it's hyperbole to prove a point (or at least spark discussion). Basketball HOF'ers are a product of longevity more than ability. Peter -- "There are two good teams in Texas. We have the third." - Charlie Palillo - Houston Sports Talk radio host 790AM |
