Dumbass. NFL NO CAP, NBA - SOFT CAP could have signed Nash with penalties, Cuban too cheap to be all about winning.

I get it. Cuban didn't want to pay Nash what he is worth, Nash won two MVPs
after he left the Mavs, the Mavs used defense as an excuse to not pay Nash,
and neither Nash nor the Mavs have a ring. The Mavs could have easily
resigned Nash but would have had to pay a luxury tax which Cuban wanted to
minimize (essentially the same reason Finley is gone). Now, which of the
above is factually untrue?

I agree with Dirk-I would like an owner like Buss of the Lakers-wants to win but is not the major story like billionaire guy with nothing to do except bother his jocks...
Again thats a simplified b.s. comment on Cuban.Cuban loves his team. He's young and gets emotionallike any of us fans. Yes he needs to sit atleast 10 rows up,but as David Stearn said, he isnt any different than any otherowner. Hes just more public about it.

He is different in that he considers himself part of the team
management. He sits with team, talks in huddles, is active in trades
and drafts. His role is more of owner/GM or President than just an
owner. In that capacity, his behavior is frequently boorish and
offensive.
