Yes, they would! In the days of two points for a win, the trick was to win
at home and get draws away...even they best teams adopted this approach.
However, now with three points for a win, teams play more gung-ho to try to
get away wins as well as home ones.

Secondary Modern.

How often did you see Liverpool play for draws away from home, or ManU
in their heyday, Chelsea now ? Not very often that's how.
