I don't think they will stay at the key, at all! I think the only way
to keep the Sonics in this region will be to build a new arena in Bellevue, Renton, or some other suburban location where they can have an arena with parking. I think the biggest problems I've been hearing about are not so much with Key Arena itself, but more with the lease they got from the stupid city of Seattle, plus not gettting any parking revenue, because 100% of the parking is controlled by the city (shitty) of Seattle. I think even if a new arena is built, there probably is only a 35% chance this Okie ownership group will keep the team here. I think we got a better chance at getting the Blazers here, especially since Paul Allen coincidentally pulled the team off the market practically within hours of the Sonics sale. WAR IS TERRORISM |
