if the supes do move to okie, would the name, colors, etc stay with seattle,
like what happened w/ the Browns? i read that Modell didn't want to leave
the name, but was the NFL got involved. personally, i think that is a good
idea since some names don't make sense... Jazz, Lakers, Cardinals...

IF, or should I say When The team moves to Okie I will not support them.
Sure, I will check up on the players to see how they are doing, the
development of the young guys, etc., however I will most likely be
rooting for the last remaining northwest team, the Blazers. Actually,
though the Blazers are quite young, and have no star player, they are
getting in some good talent that I can see progressing in the near
future. They got a couple serviceable NBA centers now too, with the
re-signing of Pryzbilla, and the trade for Jamal Magloire. And my boy
Brandon Roy is there! woo hoo!
I doubt they will be a playoff team this coming season, but maybe a year
or 2 from now they can contend!

Bah. If the team leaves who cares about colors and names? Sonic world HQ
is in Oklahoma City.

Personally I think they should be the Oklahoma City Bombers.

Well, I don't really think the "Oklahoma City Super Sonics" fits with the
demographic of the area. I mean, they may eat roadkill hedgehogs ("Sonic")
and maybe they still feel "super" about screwing the Natives over on their
land, but it just doesn't work.

As for colors, isn't Oklahoma brown or black? I mean, dustbowl right? I
think they should do a nice dirt-brown with tabacco juice-color accent
stripes.

And halftime entertainment? How about Kramer Largent throwing buckets of
confetti on twelve-year olds?
