Let me get this straight, you want to trade an old, beat up guy who doesn't play defense and has all of his good years behind him for Rasheed? The only trade that would make sense would be to trade Rasheed for a *younger* guy, one with the potential to help the team in the future, not in the past. But Rasheed still has a couple years in him, so I don't see this happening. Dumars can get good players other ways. |

Pete-Let me get this straight, you want to trade an old, beat up guy who
doesn't play defense and has all of his good years behind him for Rasheed? Answer- check the stats, Webber had better numbers this past season than Sheed. Pete-The only trade that would make sense would be to trade Rasheed for a *younger* guy, one with the potential to help the team in the future, not in the past. Answer- Pistons don't need future prospects, they are still set to win a title even this year. Webber is home grown, and more hungry than Sheed. Sheed's a Phili boy he may want to go home. Pete-But Rasheed still has a couple years in him, so I don't see this happening. Dumars can get good players other ways. Answer- wasn't about how much one has in the tank, it's about which player wants to win a championship THIS YEAR the most. Last years stats on Sheed during the playoffs were unacceptable! He shouldn't exit any game with only seven points, and the antics of not even going to the bench during a time out and sitting ont he scorers table says he doesn't respect Flip Saunders. |

before consulting the stat sheet? Rizzo Shut yo' bitchin' ass up! I've given more personal opinions here than any butt wipe among us! Facts are facts and stats are stats,,,Skippy seems impressed with stats...sometimes they work! Webber's out put was better! |

Webber had good stats last year, so what? I think he is over-rated and over-payed. I don't think he would fit in here, and getting him would be a mistake. -Peter- |

Yeah that's right, we're going to go a whole season with Sheed, not
being attentive in time outs, sitting on the scorers table, not coming out of games when instructed, not giving a damn about Flip's system or voice....that'll be real nice! Webber is hungry for a ring. He'll go that extra mile should he get in the hunt. Sheed's got his ring and showed a lack of enthusiasm in the post season. He'll be disruptive as soon as things get tight. Have to hand it to Joe though, he's prepared to fire Flip and insert either Cowens or Porter as head coach. Saunders has til' roughly the All Star break to develop that bench and get the chariot rolling. |

You sure spend a lot of time on Webber's jock. Perhaps a more equitable trade would be Sheed and a pick for O'Neal since Indiana is one arrest away from blowing up their roster... Rizzo |
