Default Will This Season Be a Success if the M's Get Back to .500?

I would have to say definetely YES. After the momentus losing streak,
to get back to .500 would be a pretty good feat.

It would mean going 7 games over .500 the rest of the way, which will
be pretty tough since the M's are playing many AL West opponents again.
If they could some how pull it off though, they would be in a great
mindset heading into next season.

On another note, I'm loving Chris Snelling's plate discipline and
overall ability. I really hope he stays healthy. I could see him having
a spot on the roster next year.

It would take an amazing comeback to get back to .500. While I hope that
they do, I wouldn't put too much into those hopes.

I've given up on hopes that Snelling can stay healthy.

I hold my breath every time he goes after a tough fly ball or slides
into a base. I love the way he plays but he is very fragile. I hope
he learns to take better care of himself.

We could use 8 more like him, only less brittle.

I gave up on him ever being able to really contribute a long time ago. I
view this September as just a cruel joke. ;-)

We know he'll have knee surgery two weeks before spring training ends. ;-)

I hope you're wrong. He's a treat to watch play.
