I think the power of the media is an awesome thing and there was a
massive effort by the tabloid's to turn our fans against Ronaldo and Ronaldo against our club. Quite simply they hate us and would do anything to bring us down. They see us building yet another great young team and we just have to be stopped at all costs, a good way to do this is to drive out one of our best players. They were defeated this time. Respect to those who ignored their efforts and stood by Ronaldo, it will pay off huge dividends. On Wed, 30 Aug 2006 08:17:36 GMT, "CJNIC" <cnicolaNO@SPAMbigpond.net.au> wrote: Quote:

I'd like to think there wasn't an outburst. But neither of us can prove it either way. I just hope he really does want to stay at United for life as when Ronaldo is on form he's better than most. |

Fair enough. Just hope he cuts out the diving, unless it's against Porto, Benfica, Sporting etc. |

Haven't seen him dive once this season so far and he was never even close to be the worst at that disgusting activity, he wasn't the worst at the World Cup, there were many way worse than him. Henry was the worst without doubt, but Henry didn't play against England so the English seagulls media didn't highlight his dives. |
