David Wells Trade

I was dumbfounded by the news of Boston trading David Wells until I
learned that he had a clause which allowed him to retire unless he was
traded to a west coast team; he obviously figures Boston isn't getting
there this year. Amazing, the terms that a (sometimes) top pitcher can
demand.

I miss the days when this was an active group, trolls and all.

ussmariner.com seems a nice sort of chat room, when the admins
choose to open for discussion, though it sometimes sounds like a
bad episode of Seinfeld.

You can still go the Yankee or Red Sox groups, trolls and all,
and get the pulse (or whatever)of those places. God knows
what they think if they visit this quiet place.
