Default The Tribe without Hafner! Like Wolfagain without his Heinekens!

Somethings missing! Playing out the string again. Quite a
dissapointing season for sure! BUT there are always some plus's.
Jeremy Sowers! No. 2 next year. Garko CAN HIT! and play 1st base. If we
need a defensive catcher Shop CAN do! CHOO CAN hit righties! And field!
And Throw! AND where do WE put KOUZ? Somewhere for sure! This guy CAN
hit! Players WE don't need anymore Peralta! Time for him to move! Byrd
kinda OK as a 5th but not really good. Indians will be the ONLY team
NOT looking for starting pitchers in the off season!

I mostly agree with your thoughts, but I think that you are projecting that
Shapiro will too.
With starting pitching being this team's strong point, I think that Shapiro
will draw upon
it to make trades to "Improve" the team. I would not be surprised at all to
see Cliff Lee
and or Jake Westbrook traded. Quite honestly, I'd like to see Byrd traded.

I believe that Shapiro will take this season's fiasco personally, and be
very active in the
off season trying to first, repair his reputation, and next, to put the
Tribe into the post-season.

The post-season being something the Tribe has not experienced during the
Larry and Mark show.
(I just have to add that for all the Dolan and or Shapiro fans out there)

I think that a slight rearrangement of "Ready....Aim....Fire!!" may be in
order.
This winter we may witness Shapiro's: "Ready.....Fire.......Aim!!"

Steve

We would trade Bryd tomarrow to the Twins, who just lost Lariano for
the rest of the season EXCEPT he could NEVER clear waivers! Probably!
Worth a try though.

I don't think you could get enough from the Twins for Byrd. If they're
goin to trade Byrd, I want Major League talent. Not 2-3 prospects
again.

I agree...No "A" or "AA" or "AAA" players not ready for prime time.

As a Tribe fan, what 2 thru 8 position player would you like to see ?
Or would you expect Bullpen help for Byrd.

Bullpen help is obvious. I'm interested in seeing what other positions
Tribe fans would like to see addressed.

Steve

We're a quality bullpen away from a monster team... if that's all they
improve, then we're good to go.
