The Rose Award For 9-21-2006.
The Rose Award goes to Lance Berkman of the Houston Astros, who went
three-for-four with four RBI and scored two runs in a 6-5 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. Berkman hit a pair of two-run homers off Chris Carpenter. Berkman tied a career high with his 42nd home run in the fifth, then set a new mark with a two-run drive into the Astros' bullpen in the eighth.
