Well, that's that.

Best record in MLB after July 1st, and the Angels would be behind 3rd
place Central CHI record-wise, which pretty much shows how disastrous
our start was.

I'm very confident the Angels will be much improved next year, and
until then I'm going to enjoy the rest of the baseball season, rooting
against the Yankees. I suspect it's the Mets's year in the NL, and
maybe the Tigers will win the AL.

I remain proud. A whole lotta heart among those guys, and good reasons for

As an A's fan, I love the way the Angels are put together-except of course
for their fielding. Their hitting is to be feared and you have quality
pitching, and a very good manager.

Well, that's that.

At least Tim Salmon will get a shot at 300 -- I doubt Scioscia would
have played him much if they still had a shot.

Maybe now Stoneman will address the "power" issue. I often wish I would
wake up in that alternate universe where Konerko *didn't* wake up and
decide to stay in Chicago...
