Dusty Baker fired. As a fan on the WGN News telecast said prior to the
Press Conference, Dusty seemed to be too relaxed in his managing of the
Cubs. He seemingly had no real sense of urgency at any point in his
tenure. Dusty may be a good guy and etc etc. but WE CUBS FANS want a
winner. These years of losing constantly have grown quite old wouldn't
ya say? So my vote for next Cubs manager is JOE GIRARDI.

What has Girardi won so far? He did a great job with the AAA Marlins, but I
don't know if he is the right choice. He would be a great emotional choice,
but maybe not best experience-wise. Just my 2 cents.

Girardi had a great season with the Marlins with the talent they had. They
were in the playoff race for most of the season. You didnt hear about any
Marlin pitchers getting injured like the Cubs pitchers did.

Girardi is probably a good choice if you have a team of kids just happy to
be there. A team of veterans won't put up with him.

And this team of veterans responded so well to a veteran-friendly
Baker? Not to mention that you have absolutely no evidence, even
anecdotal, to back up your statement.

He has a lifetime of experience of being a dimwit.
