Can't stand ESPN but sometimes have to watch it. Especially LOVED
yesterday's game! Yankee fans in shock after this one. Especially loved the sign one Yankee moron fan was showing "I came here to see some post season magic" He did! I thought Verlander would do much better and expected the tigs to win this one. Tonight's weather will be in the 40's. Expect the ex-Big Unit's back to tighten up and he'll be gone in the 4th. Tigers will feast tonight! They'll score at least 8-9 runs against Yanks' mediocre bull pen and win easy! ESPN's next story header: "Yanks fall to Cold weather" shocking!! Tigers get no respect from ESPN as expected. |

YES! Except for the Tigers' bull pen, which is super so far, their team is about the same as the Indians. We have better hitting and starting pitching is about the same. We get an edge if Somers is for real. But we have NO bull pen like they do! Leyland is a NO B.S.! manager and probably Wedge could learn a thing or two from him. Expierence does have it's advantages. |

The Tigers may have an edge behind the plate, too... Pudge is pretty tough. Watched him pick a Red Sox runner off 3rd in Fenway Park. Cheered like hell. The Red Sox fans didn't like it, but I could have cared less. |

Sorry to be a nitpicking git, but I believe you meant to say "I *couldn't* have cared less". To say "I could have cared less" gives one wiggle room for actually caring which I'm /sure/ you didn't intend. I blame my mother, the ex-English teacher, for this net-nanny 'tude. Shutting up now, sir. <slinks away to lurk some more> -- I Am *Not* Mentok |

I'll correct myself: I could not have given a fuck less. Screw Red Sox fans and any Stadium that doesn't sell beer in the stands. Better ? Thanks, Steve |

I admit, I've never been to Fenway. They don't sell beer in their
stands? Does anyone know if that's legal? |

When I was there, you had to go down inside to one of the concession stands. And all I found was Miller. They walked around selling flavored water, pop and stuff like that. Nice place to watch a game, except for seats down the 3rd base line. Can't see LF at all. Bleachers , RF, 1st base line, and behind home plate were all fine. |
