As an A's fan, obviously I'm very pleased that they won, and the manner
in which they won, so I can't lie about that. Having said that, I have repected the Twins as a team and an organization for many years, and I feel for you fans. To a point. ;-) Anyway, it sucks, yeah, but you guys have a good team and good players and you'll be back. Hell, just watching Ozzie impode over the Twins overtaking the White Sox was worth the price of admission, so to speak. I gotta say, I will now forever have a great deal of respect for Radke. Someone in another thread used the word "ballsy" and that sums it up. A super-sized pair of cahones, and the definition of "guts". |

The guy could throw strikes and his changeup was awesome. (Weird using the word "was") I went to the Sept. 28th game where he had his first start in quite a while. He went through the Royals lineup like a hot knife through butter. That's going to be my lasting memory of Radke and not the loss to the A's in the playoffs. |

Brad was a quiet unassuming guy. Never complained, and I had no idea he was even hurt until a couple of months ago. We need more role models like Brad. |
