Default Yankees Lose!

That is the problem. They buy every team. Don't get me wrong, they do very well with what they buy. The Dodgers could be in such a position but don't do as well with what they buy. The upside is the Dodgers bring new talent into the game. This year's examples are Martin and Ethier. The Yankees just buy other people's hard work. This is good for business but bad for the game.

Been watching baseball for just a couple of years, dummy? Cornerstones
of the recent WS winning Yankee teams include Jeter, Pettitte, M.
Rivera, Posada, B. Williams, R. Mendoza, all from their farm system.
Paul O'Neill was a worthless mediocrity before joining the Yanks. You
really have no clue what you're talking about. The Yankees didn't
feast off the hard work of other teams any more than the '88 Dodgers
did by acquiring their future MVP Kirk Gibson. Stow your jive BS. And
as far as bringing new talent into MLB, the Yankees recently brought in
Soriano and Nick Johnson, among others.

They got it wrong. Yankees draw well because people love to hate them,
And that has what do to with revenue sharing?

which technically...if the dollar figures were correct (and I agree with Ima that they are skewed)...then its why we should continue to hate them.
Terribly juvenile on your part but feel free to follow along with the other sheep. Baseball needs the Dodgers, Red Sox , Mets, and Dodgers to do well, every owner in the league knows this.

you misunderstood. The article was "why we should love the yankees". In
fact the Yanks are such a big draw everywhere because people love to hate
them. So if the revenue they generate is good for all of baseball (which I
am not completely buying) then its all the more reason for people to hate
them... yes?
