Are you trying to suggest that correlation isn't the same ascausality?
You remind me of the tobacco company executives who testified to congress that just because there was a correlation between smoking and lung cancer didn't mean smoking caused lung cancer.

You remind me of the person who hears that people who live in trailer
parks have a higher rate of heart attacks and thinks this means that
living in a trailer causes heart attacks.

Dave.

You should leave analogies to the professionals.

You are right, without further study you can say it might, but it
probably does not.

Dave.

Is it true that people who live in trailer parks have a higher rate of
heart attack?

People who live near toxic waste dumps have a higher rate of cancer. But
that's probably just a correlation. Bush says so.

Were those tobacco correlations based on a sample size of three
smokers?
