No, just somebody who pays attention to the minors - and the Giant minor league system is seriously short on quality position prospects. Just the fact that you seemed even mildly excited about Linden shows that. |

There you go again, living in the past. Good for history books, not good for the future. Hey, if the Red Sox and White Sox can do it, we can too....lol. But, I'm sure the Baseball Gods are looking towards the Cubs first. But, we're next in line......lol |

Funny you talk about living in the past - when you are the one who brought up Dodger troubles in winning post season games. Over the next few seasons at least it's far more likely for the Dodgers to change that than for the Giants to do so - since the Dodgers are the better team now, significantly younger than the Giants, with every commentator on the minors saying that the Dodger minor league system is currently far better than the Giants - oh, and with more payroll room to boot. |

You're all excited about a Giant team that even you don't know who it will contain next year? Not that the Dodgers have any more stability, heck, we don't even put the players' names on the jerseys. J. |

so basically you are more a fan of hating the dodgers than you are a fan of loving the giants. That's the difference. I too dislike the giants and am happy when they finish behind us but I don't get any joy out of going into their NG and tweaking them about the teams short comings (no points for the easy ones). I am too busy rooting for my own team. AG |

How are the odds in your favor? Talk about living in the past. Because the Giants have gone further before failing in the past you figure they have a better shot? The fell WAY WAY short this past year. You have to make it to the post season donchuknow. So lets live in the very recent past. Dodger post season berths 1, Giants 0. Hows that for not living in the past. What I was actually refering to is the current make up of the teams. You have a bunch of aging veterans on their way out and no replacements except what they can buy. We have a bunch of injured veterans possibly on their way out but a bunch of very good minor league prospects. In other words, our holes are a lot smaller than yours. So yeah, go back to the phone booth and we will see who gets there first. AG |

Not sure where that comes from, oh yeah, another know-it-all Dodger fan. Just because of posting numbers on NG's? You're a lost puppy, AG. |

It comes from your own post "... the Giants NG, but I put in my two cents once in a while, it's just more fun playing with you guys and your lame posts, ........ you said you don't post much there because its more fun to rag on the Dodger fans. You enjoy dissing the Dodgers more than you enjoy discussing your own team. I am not lost gint boy.... You paint a perfectly clear picture. AG |
