Default Cards very lucky .. Ronnie has 2 strikes on him with 2 out

ON a verrrrry close pitch on the outside corner ....Ronnie gets the
call ....Then drives in 2 runs to
tie the game at 2 .....just my opinion I could b wrong ( and I usually
am ) Go Boids

Luck has little to do with their success in this series.

It all starts with Tony's decision to start Reyes instead of Carpenter
on the last day of the season. That set the rotation for the entire
series againt the Padres.

Belliard's hit wasn't luck; it was skill. One doesn't make it to the
majors on luck.

Now if there had been a skinny, bespecticled guy wearing a uniform
three sizes too big at the plate and who had never even held a bat and
he got the hit, then that would've been lucky.

Go Cards,
Tom

Ok, I think I understand what you mean. The strike zone last night was
shaped like a jigsaw puzzle piece and if Belliard got a pitch when the
ump was looking at the wrong piece...

How'd I do?

Go Cards,
Tom

communication between us ..is not
needed. We do agree ..on one thing ... Go Cards.
