Mets outfielder Cliff Floyd is out for the League Series with a strained
left Achilles tendon. -- I throw the ball ninety-two miles an hour, but they hit it back just as hard. -----Joaquin Andujar |

He's a good player and can have an impact in any short series. He's hurt the Cardinals in the last couple of years. I'm unsure what you mean by nice try, though. Go Cards, Tom Quote:

This does hurt the Mets, no question. He was swinging the bat good vs LA.
However, Endy has had a tremendous year and he is a major upgrade in the field. I'm a Mets fan lurking who will be checking out your NG for the next week. I won't wish you good luck, but I will be civil to you guys. I do realize there is a huge difference between the St Louis fan and the NY fan. Any question Mets related you have I'll try to give an honest appraisal. "Tom" <drsoong@aol.com> wrote in message news:1160431287.711596.208870@k70g2000cwa.googlegr oups.com... Quote:
