I looked up Andruw's stats for July and August, when the rumors were swirling. He actually posted a 900+ OPS for each of the last three months of the season, though he pulled off his 921 August despite a .227 BA. Overall his first half BA was better (.271 to .249), but his second half OPS was much better (957 to 848). Interesting stuff, though. Sounds like he could be had for a decent hometown discount in-season if the Braves want to make the commitment. I'm betting they will. Colin
