Really? I was told otherwise, on good authority. But they don't hold
with them sissies.

Shut up fool, I got screwed out of $50 in tolls, parking and gas to get sent
home. Some Yankee did the only honorable thing a Yankee can do when they
don't win the Series. Then some clown's car caught fire in the Lincoln
Tunnel. At least NY doesn't smell like piss when it rains.

Hey Topo ..jeeez youse dont have no reason to complain...If yah choose to live in the NU YOOOHRK AREAR ...then you know what the deal is right ..? So fuggetaboutit.. and meet me at the Stage Deli...Ahm Buying ....

Oh yeah, we are crazy New Yorkers. Land of the poor and the rich.
I remember going to Atlanta a few times in the 90's, I got great
tickets to a Braves game right at the gate for some ridiculously cheap
face value, and I got to go to 2 Knicks/Hawks playoffs games also for
face value with no problem.
But in New York, if someone invites me to a game, I can barely afford
to pay for a couple of rounds of beers. No wonder Frank Sinatra said,
"If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere", maybe he meant,
"afford it here....".

True. Nor when it's dry, unlike the poorly-drained, toxic swampland to
the south and west of us.
