What are the rules? Can we put him on the DL and activate Shelton? nope. because a certain owner, who most of the country despises, cheated once, a team is no longer allowed to replace an injured player during a series. Shelton can be added after this series is over.

BK, I presume you mean Steinbrenner. But I do not recall this
incident. By 'cheating' I presume you mean he replaced a player who
wasn't truly injured with another player? Otherwise I do not catch
your drift. Please enlighten me about this event.

where do you hear about the Casey Return I much prefer Guillen at SS, over Santiago -- |) Chew 'em up Tigers
WTF is Santiago doing on the roster rather than Shelton? I still need a legit answer (and I do NOT consider Santiago's ability to play more than one position to be enough to satisfy me, so try again.

well, that IS the answer. Would you like to see Shelton or Casey playing
shortstop??

I would think you would put Shelton on the series roster if the tigs
make it there they will pinch hitters to bat for the pitchers in the NL
ballparks.

I don't remember the specifics, but that is what happened.

The reasons Infante didn't play are twofold. He's got a weak arm to
play SS and there was a RH pitcher on the mound. But I
agree.....Shelton should have ben on the roster instead of Perez. Why
do we need 3 extra middle infielders and no back up 1st basemen?
