Default My NLCS prediction

Cardinals in 6. Even the Braves managed to wrest a World Series in '95
out of their otherwise failed dynasty. The time has come for LaRussa
to overcome his past decade of failures. The cosmos dictate it'll come
at the Mets's expense.

My prediction is that after a week of gorgeous 80 degree weather and
sunshine that it will rain and be cold and miserable for Game 1 of the NLCS.

A rainout would likely favor the Cards, who could then move Carpenter up to
pitch one of the first two games.

That doesn't really matter as either way Carpenter was going to pitch
2 games in a full 7 game series.

If it got that far, that is.

Carpenter was scheduled to pitch Saturday. The rainout doesn't help him
at all.
