I dislike Slappy as much as anyone !!!

But how can any writer write the comment below (Part of an ESPN.com
article.:

Rodriguez, who has a no-trade clause in his contract, struggled during
his third season with the Yankees

Then include these numbers:

2006 STATISTICS
GM HR RBI R OBP AVG
154 35 121 113. 392 .290

and do it with a straight face? Presumably it's in regard to things
other than these figures.

He was so interested in making some value judgment he did not pay attention
to that little detail called facts.
