Was it just me, or did Weaver's fastball have some really good movement
on it in the NLDS, not seen before in his starts with us? I've of course seen better, but it seems to have an extra little squirt on it at the end that seemed to make it far less hit-able than before. Do you think he was just throwing a cutter or two-seamer for strikes that he couldn't locate as well before? I really don't know Weaver. Some people I work with in TN went "OOO" positively when I told them who was starting that game. Luke |

I've posted on this. His reduced and modifed deliver, plus his up tempo has
made a noticable change. I have wondered if Duncah had him during spring training to work on weaver's motion and delivery what sort of record Weaver would have for the season. Fred -- I throw the ball ninety-two miles an hour, but they hit it back just as hard. -----Joaquin Andujar "Luke D." <no@spam.com> wrote in message news:452D792C.4050703@spam.com... Quote:

That is why I wondered (BELOW IN MY EARLIER POST) if Duncan had him during
Spring training...if there would've been a difference..... -- I throw the ball ninety-two miles an hour, but they hit it back just as hard. -----Joaquin Andujar "Brad" <Elwayo7@mchsi.com> wrote in message news:VJsXg.100842$aJ.92997@attbi_s21... Quote:
