Saito going back to Japan?

Saito seems to have the Dodgers over a barrel, forcing them to give him
more money than any 2nd year player would get... even then it sounds
like he may go back to Japan. Are the Bums considering Gagne as their
closer next year?

"It could be one and done for the Dodgers' closer, who is contemplating
returning to Japan next year for his age 37 season. His goal was to
successfully pitch one season in MLB and he has achieved that. The
Dodgers could lure him into staying with a risky and lucrative,
multi-year offer. "There are certain things that were earned this year,
and I hope the Dodgers understand there are some things I would like
included in my contract," he said. They are not obligated to offer him
anything more than the minimum salary next year."

That is really bad news. I hope Broxton is ready next season because Gagne
is not going to make it.
