at least we should kick them up as a warning to the many pistons haters
who will try to do the same thing next year. we are the eastern conference champions. but we could have done more as repeat NBA champions. the refs hindered that. and the refs should pay for it.

I think all those games in the fall when the Pistons got outworked by inferior teams had more to do with the failure to repeat; with a few more wins they could have had home court, and if they weren't always going into double-digit holes, LB just might have given the bench more development time. Any suggestions for ways to make the officiating more consistent from game to game would be great (as long as it doesn't involve instant replays and challenges and stuff that would stretch the games out to 3-hour snoozefests), but I just don't buy the conspiracy theory.. bw STONES IN '06!!!
