And Burnley as 10th greatest! Mind you they did knock a Premiership
team out of the F A Cup the season before last. (snigger)

Do you see the team that they reckoned was the 5th greatest team of
all time? The Everton 1988 team with Neil Pointon and Wayne Clarke!

Only right that England's most successful & biggest club should be top of
such a league.

Must have been a rival supporters' body count league then.

Default Who's The Greatest?

I read it earlier.

I disagree with the ranking of clubs by average points. Surely it should be
on total points, thus rewarding those clubs who have been in the top league
for most years.

Also, I profoundly disagree with awarding three points to a win before the
system was introduced...clubs would have been playing for draws more often
than they do now.

There is only one statistic that should really be counted and that has to be
number of titles. I support Arsenal but still recognise that a few years
back United won the title with several games to spare as did Liverpool in
the seventies. Points after the title is won are totally irrelevant. There
are really only 4 teams of any consequence and they are Liverpool,
Manchester United, Arsenal and Everton. The number of titles won by these
four teams exceeds the number won by all the others combined.
