Default Question about upcoming Red Sox series

If I were to drive up for a game and go straight to the ticket booth
before gametime, what could I expect?

What are you trying to find out? Your question is mighty vague.

Whether I can get tickets at the booth or will it be sold out and if
not what kind of tickets will be left?

The Royals haven't had a sellout since Opening Day, though the middle
game of the St. Louis series looks like it came very close. The other
two games of the St. Louis series are the only times the Royals
exceeded 30,000 in attendance. The Royals are currently averaging
17,441 in attendance. Capacity of the K is around 41,000, so assuming
that there are more Red Sox fans in the area than for other teams, I'd
say you'd have at least 15,000 seats from which to choose, and probably
more than 20,000. The Boston series gets played on Tuesday, Wednesday,
and Thursday, so you don't have to worry about the above average
attendance on fireworks Friday, or on Saturday, which probably has the
highest average attendance of any day of the week for the Royals.

Default Question about upcoming Red Sox series

While the Royals attendance hasn't fallen to, say, Montreal Expos range,
you'll have no problem getting good tickets at the gate. Hell, show up
early enough, you might be asked to play right field or pitch relief.

That's certainly a lot more than the alleged audience the HCCB had,
Dickless.

Default Question about upcoming Red Sox series

Tickets at the stadium will be absolutely no problem. I will be surprised if
ANY of these games, considering the nights they are being played, even draws
as many as 20,000 people to it. There is no big interest in Kansas City in
seeing the Red Sox. Yankees and Cardinals yes, Red Sox? Nope.

So, the answer to your question is you will meet and greet a very bored
looking ticket seller twiddling his or her thumbs who will ask you where
you'd like to sit and will then fulfill any request that you make in that
regard.

Awesome...thanks everyone. And for the record, the way the Sox have
been playing, there's a good chance the Royals will win the series.

I'm waiting to see if the Royals can lose a third consecutive 1-0 against
the BoSox. Yawn

Default Question about upcoming Red Sox series

I am surprised that there were as many people in the park last night as
there was. Almost 27,000. Is T-shirt Tuesday that popular?
