Fab manager

I'm new to this NG. Are you the same Bundo as in the Leafs group?
Holy jeez are you ever negative about the Jays.
We were all expecting great things this year. Hasn't this year been great
to this point? While we're all disappointed they won't make the playoffs,
didn't JP say that next year was his plan? Let's get some of these young
pitchers a turn in the Majors, perhaps get AJ healthy and a year in the AL,
get Chacin healthy and try to construct a solid bullpen. The offense is
there and isn't really going anywhere so I think next year will be much more
enjoyable.
This is the first year, since '94, that I've really watched the Jays, and
I've enjoyed quite a few games this year. I love the offensive onslaught
they can put on. Obviously the pitching could be a bit better but there's
always time to turn that around before next season. I really think Gibbons
needs to trust his pitchers a bit more and stop removing them as much as he
does, but whose to say that leaving a pitcher in won't result in the same
outcome as bringing a new pitcher in.

Stay positive. Overtaking both the Red Sox and Yankees in one year is a
tremendous feat in today's baseball. It's going to take a special team to
do so and I think the Jays are almost there.

At least they aren't the Argos or Raptors ;o)

Not all. I was predicting a break even. My next prediction is that Gibbons
won't be the manager next year.

As I said in an earlier post gibbons, imho
is jp's lap dog and manages the team the
way jp tells him to not how he perhaps
wants to.

My guess is he will take the fall, for jp's
blunders.

Btw welcome to the group, and I enjoyed
your post.

There are so many trolls in here these days.

They lurk in the shadows and as soon as
the jays falter, they like to make the usual
comments,"oh another 3rd place finish"
ect ect.

Few seem to grasp the concept.just how
difficult is to contend in the al east.

As you may have guesd I have little
respect for the teams front office,
jp and the spin doctor godfrey.

The teams offence is very much improved
this year, but the pitching has been a
disaster, with injury and an over worked
and tired bull pen, that have probably
pitched more inn. then the 3,4, and
5th starters combined.

Like you I look forward to the next few
seasons,with some healthy pitchers and
that hitting it may be the ticket.

Hey dipshit.

a) It wasn't Bundo who made the comment to which Kawalec replied.

b) The comment was "we were all expecting great things this year." We were
all. By Kawalec saying that he was expecting a break even season and not
great things, he has disproven that comment. He's not speaking for anybody
but himself.

c) Learn how to format a posting. It's damn near impossible to read any of
yours.

a) Obliviously you have not been in here long
enough to read some of the trash Kawalec, has
posted in here.

b) In the original post by (Rich).who's comment
was clearly directed at Bondo,(who seems to
be absorbed with bad mouthing the Jays and
their fans religiously) it was Kawalec that made
the reply(also who is absorbed by with his own
fantasy about being a mlb guru and just plain
arrogant know it all)directly.

And it does not take a rocket scientist to figure
out thats what bushdoctor, was trying to point
out.

c)While bushdoctor may not always contain
his anger at times,he almost never condemns
others (other than the afore mentioned BK,who
is probably one of the biggest jerks around)
in a hostile and low class manner, such as
yourself Wayne.

d)BTW,who appointed you as the monitor
of proper formatting of posts on this or any
other ng?(Is 'hey dipshit' proper net etiquette)

I have no comment on any of the other issues raised in this thread, by
I will note that I also find bushdoctor's posting format unreadable,
and am disapointed when he joins a thread, because the quoting of his
formating makes the rest of the thread also unreadable.

Cheers.

I've been saying that for months. I doubt that any software does that
either, so it must just be ignorance.
