The Rose Award For 8-16-2006.

The Rose Award goes to Mark Grudzielanek of the Kansas City Royals, who
went three-for-five with four RBI and scored one run in a 10-4 win over
the Chicago White Sox.

Grudzielanek hit a three-run homer and Adam Bernero pitched six shutout
innings.

The defending World Series champions have lost two straight games to
the team with the worst record in the majors.

They also swept the team with the best record in the majors and have the 2nd
best record in the majors...
