Default Is Gallas on a wind up?

Damien Duff, Eidur, Hernon Crespo and Robert Huth all departed saying things
like
'Thank you to the Chelsea fans for all your support blah blah blah'

This Judas Cunt goes and says 'I'm off to play for the best fans in the
country' !
Now leaving aside the merits of whether Arsenal fans are or aren't the best
fans
in the country, what sort of arsehole says things like that after Chelsea
gave him
the best 5 years of his career?

Am reminded of Gordon Durie leaving for 'homesickness' reasons and going to
Spurs. He made his debut at 3 point lane against us, got abuse like I've
never
heard in my life and was then mysteriously 'injured' for every Chelsea v
Spurs
game thereafter.

Roll on December 10th.....

You've been reading The Sun again haven't you? I'd say he was pretty fair to
both clubs.

As for our game, we can't wait to see Cashley back. I've never ever seen
Arsenal fans so glad to get rid of a player.

'I am happy and proud to announce to you my arrival at Arsenal football
club. After five marvellous years spent under the shirt of Chelsea, I
dreamed of a new sporting challenge and I couldn't refuse the opportunity to
play with Arsenal. '

'First of all, and it was very important in my decision, I remain in London,
a city which I adore and in which I surround myself well with close
relations. I will also find some French friends at Arsenal, especially Titi,
my pal from the french national team who I hope to win titles with at this
club.'

'At the age of 29, I also wish to continue to progress and who better to be
able to allow me to achieve this goal then Arsène Wenger? I am in a hurry
already to work under his orders, to learn from him. I signed a 4 year
contract because at Arsenal I will enjoy the sporting challenge. I want to
bring my experience to the young Gunners finalists of the last Champions
league, to know new thrills on a bright new stage, supported by the best
fans in england.'

'Of course to leave the Blues is not done without difficulty. With Chelsea,
I achieved much, gained two premiership titles and reached the final of the
World cup with the french natioanl team. But I needed a new challenge, to
break the routine, to give me new aims. From now on I will be a member of
the red and white Army. From now on I will carry high the colors of
Arsenal.'

Well he's also spent the last *three* years, yes, even before JM arrived,
bitching
that he wants to leave, can't bear playing full back, it's nothing to do
with money
and he want's to experience playing in Italy or Spain. There are plenty of
quotes
from him saying 'Milan are interested' and 'Barcelona are interested' He's
been a
perennial whinger who obviously been a very good player for us but perhaps
is
not as good as he/we thought. After all, there was hardly a stampede for his
services
and it seems going to Arsenal was the *only* choice he effectively had left
rather than
sitting out his contract a la Winston Bogarde. Be prepared for more of the
same antics
in 12 months time!

And if West Ham suddenly start paying £100 more per week, expect Cashley to
be the first out of the door.

I suspect Gallas will have a far better working relationship with Wenger
than Mourinho, but it isn't fair to say he slagged off Chelsea after leaving
though. He's been quite fair.
