I am getting comfortable with the squad AW has put together. If Rosicky &
Baptista can avvoid being immunized against finishing like the rest of the squad, Arsenal can even begin to score. If Gallas produces the same level of play as he did in Chelsea, our defence is among the very best in the world, if not the best (when Clichy is back, but Flamini had a very decent run as stand-in last season after X-mas). Our midfield, top! Up front is the only weakness with TH14 almost sole responsible for scoring. It'll be a great season! |

What would happen if we had a problem at left back again or elsewhere, what if Gallas was the best available person to play in that position and Wenger was forced to play him out of position. The problem he had at Chelsea that although better than Carvalho at center half he was considered the better player and had to play out of position. He has in the past been a victim of his versatility and the time may come when AW has to play Gallas out of position. I am not trying to be negative, rather objective. -- "A horse a horse my kingdom for a horse, I haven't had a winner in six months". MD |
