Yup, but they're not gonna be a sponsor. Hobby Lobby International is
going to be the big money sponsor, the owner is a huge ranch guy, and they
are thinking about changing the name to the Oklahoma City Horsepower.

I *hate* non-plural team names.

Damn.. that's twice in one day I've agreed with Furr 100%.

Either my thinking is getting worse or his is getting better.

I'd say that your thinking is "selective" right now...you've replied to
quite a few posts since I called you out in the Miami/UL thread when
you threw the gauntlet down and yelled "PLAY SOMEBODY."

"So stand up and support your argument...who has *anyone* in the ACC
played (not even that they won...but simply played) that we should
note? "

Meanwhile in other news my figuring is that a new arena will be constructed
in Bellevue to house the NBA Seattle Supersonics and an as yet unidentified
NHL team through a combination of private funding and state funds to expand
freeway access.

Seattle is a market much much larger then Oklahoma City and the group that
purchased the franchise didn't do it to lose money. The arena in Oklahoma
City is not state of the art and withing about 6 years will be obsolete and
completely non-competitive.

You ain't getting the Sonics.

If you all get a team you should call it the Oklahoma City Bombers.
