I certainly have to wonder why the Museum of Fine Art isn't included in the "top 7" and what about the MOST FAMOUS OF ALL, The Alamo? And the Palace of Governors? The historic cathedrals? Not museums??? I can only imagine there are others left off the list which probably should be revised to read the "Top 20" |

Well, its just one man's opinion. I think his point is, people come to SA to see the Alamo, maybe even the Missions, but there's much more to the city. |

Not to even mention THE most important museum to those that frequent this message group, the one at the corner of East Houston Street and SBC Parkway. The one that sports not ONE, not TWO, but THREE Larry O'Brien NBA Championship Trophies!!! For those that can't count (Louis the Lame), that's one more than in the Toyota Center. Quote:

So, you don't know what the Rampage (a/k/a Silver Scum to Houston Aeros fans ;-) play for? Evidently, news doesn't get to Bryan/College Station very fast...the Calder Cup is what AHL teams skate for - you know, that league that provides most of the North American players to the NHL? -- Patrick "The Chief Instigator" Humphrey (patrick@io.com) Houston, Texas chiefinstigator.us.tt/aeros.php (TCI's 2006-07 Houston Aeros) LAST GAME: Milwaukee 4, Houston 2 (May 9) NEXT GAME: Saturday, October 7 vs. Grand Rapids, 7:35 |

Not that I really give a spit about hockey, but that would make it an irrelevant minor league "trophy", right? Who cares, in reality? |
