I think he alone has added 1 run to both Westbrook and Lee's ERA's. Fox
Sports reported that he is about 1 inch taller and 12-15 lbs heavier
than last season which explains why he has slowed considerably. Gotta

cost us 8-10 games easy. Our Bull Pen has cost us another 10 games!

I think we may be OK leaving the Garko/Martinez duo at first for now and Marte at third IF we can beef up the middle infield with veteran
talent. This team can hit enough to overcome one or more position(s) where the player is outstanding defensively and average offensively up
the middle, in fact I wish baseball would forget about the shortstop hitting 20+ home runs if the guy can field anywhere near a player like
Omar Vizquel. While Peralta was never a wizard with the glove, he was certainly more then acceptable last year.

The true problem is that the Indians have too many players that can hit, a few in the minors that can field, and have accumulated a large
quantity of players that are one dimensional and very few that are well-rounded. Again I blame the organization as a whole.

Remember, it did take Omar several years and I'm sure good coaching to steal bases, bunt, and hit for a very nice average for a few good
years in his prime. He was a very low average hitter at first. Omar seems to be a solid player even now. My lack of confidence is in the
coaching staff.

In my Infinite Stupidity, Mr. Obvious forgot to mention the most obvious and horrible problem.

EVEN Bobby Howry AND Mr. Wickman could have not save this bullpen this tear (errr year). But I bet we would have been .500 or better.

Since the Dolans' seem to live in a previous era where Bob Feller pitches 40 complete games a year, why don't we simply skimp on paying a
proven, experienced veteran manager to fire up the young players. Look not to go off on a rant, since Jim Leyland seems to have a burned out
congolomeration of lead the league in losing pitchers and AAA move-ups winning a ton of games, and they might actually pull it off yet... BUT
Where is the leadership on this (Indians) team?

I look at this team and see a lot of talent, but little veteran direction, most especially in the loccker room.
