I like the idea of rotating the commish job. I'd
be willing to do it again but I think any number of
people could do a better job so lets throw it
out there...I nominate LittleJon.....

Fair enough. The ID is 6019, and the pwd is paxisgod
If you did not participate in either previous BPL, please wait and give
returnees a chance to join.

I kept all the same settings from last year. I think the main issue
for discussion there would be whether to keep A/T or not. I'm pretty
ambivalent, so if anyone has a strong opinion, please post it.

I had to pick a date/time for the live draft, so my dartboard selected
the last Thursday before the start of the season, Oct 26, at 4:30pm PT
/ 6:30pm CT. If that's inconvenient for anyone, let me know what would
be more convenient for you.

The one exception, if he's even interested, is Artis, who was there for
BPLI but bowed out last year.

Someone bowed out of the BPL?! How? Why? A mystery!

A/TO was kind of weak, but since I sucked at it, take that with a grain
of salt. With a couple of exceptions, most players who are good at it
don't play enough for it to make much difference. I could envision
picking a UTIL player with no scoring but a lot of blocks, or steals, or
rebounds, but picking a guy based on A/TO was hard to do. Also, I'd like
to emphasize that I really did suck at it.

I'm seriously considering throwing my power cord away that day,
considering that my robodrafted team in BPLI did so much better than my
hand-picked team in BPLII. Pau might just be this year's Amare, and I
don't trust myself.

Well I'd like to vote against using the A/TO column - it just seems to
double up on statistics that are already ranked in other categories.

Anyway, I'm in for BPL mark III.

This year I might even have cable TV - and with the way the Bulls
roster looks, perhaps a chance of seeing a live game (for the first
time in around ten years). Tres excited!

Brad.

Brad, good to ... er, read you again. You don't need a broadcast
schedule to daydream, which is about all we're doing at this time of
year. :-)

The Bulls are supposed to be on nationwide TV like 10 or 11 times or
something like that. I have no idea if this translates to seeing more
games over there or not.

You're just trying to drive a wedge between me and Nash. He's all I
have. Really now, I got beat in blocks by the guy who ignored his team
for a month and a half.

Allow me to suggest Nene. Major knee problems, but he'll actually
play. Plus he's driving around a dump truck full of dough now, so you
know he'll be extra good.

You might want to re-open the "no waiver" issue. Some
folks didn't seem to like it so much last season so this
might be a good time to air it out.

So did it work out that you'll be spending part of the next year in the
States?

Nah, after the season started it worked fine. I was a major bitch about
it but I don't think we'll have that issue again (GLARES AT LEE WATKINS).
