It was sweet to see the A's denied the clincher at home against the
Angels. Gotta take the good with the Bad.

And ya never know. It ain't over till it's over, as a zen master once
said.

If we'd had a healthy reigning Cy Young winner, if, if, if. Yadda
yadda. We'll have more pop next year surrounding Vlad de Magnifico.
(How does the guy hit .330 while swinging at pitches 8" outside and
low, fastballs up around the eyes, etc? "Plate discipline" is not a
phrase that's really applicable to Vlad de Magnifico. And yet: .330 or
so BA. That's FREAKY!)

And, and, and: IF somehow the Angels win the division, it will make the
Dodgers game against SD look like just so much ho-hum. It wd be THAT
miraculous, imo.
