Default Adios to the CWS and Jaws.

To mimic Robert Shaw / Richard Dreyfuss in my 2nd favorite scene in Jaws.
When Shaw was perusing the Shark cage about to go on his boat.
Quizzing Dreyfuss about the future contents of the cage, and
its location with respect to a rather voracious shark.....

Q:Twins beat the Royals?
A:Yep.

Q:Tribe beat the CWS?
A:Yep.

Farewell and adieu to you, Spanish ladies,
Farewell and adieu to you, ladies of Spain;
For we have received orders to sail to old England,
But we hope in a short time to see you again.

And to any CWS fans who may see this, I'd root for your team over
most 2006 playoff teams.

Phils (Charlie), Tigers (I want the opera singer on Nat'l TV and like
Leland),
whoever is playing the hated Yankees and Mets being the exceptions.

Steve

What's your first favorite scene? Finding Ben Gardner's boat? "You're
gonna need a bigger boat."? Cutting open the tiger shark? Quint offering
his services at the public forum? There are so many good ones.

When Shaw recounts the story of the Indianapolis, after delivering the
A-Bomb.

I _LOVE_ that scene! It's true, though: there are so many great scenes
in that amazing film!

Dood was a hell of a shot with that rifle at the end eh? <g>
Have you seen the myth busters try to re-create that kill?
