Sounds like Stewart's replacement will be Thom Brenneman. I heard McCallister on the radio today and he was talking like he knew it for sure. I'm guessing the reason Thom would be willing to make the move would be the imminent taking over the main job after his dad retires. I like it, and I would also take Steve Stewart on TV over George Grande. Marty probably could have saved Steve Stewart if not for nepotism.

Yeah,
So much for having a player's input during a broadcast. Of course, we get the unique point of view of another announcer in the booth !!!! How special is that !!!! Its bad enough that: 1) the broadcasts are getting filled up with in-bat and in-inning commercials 2) we get the same opening day match up every year (cup vs reds forever) Steve M. Mann wrote: Quote:
