Default Braves' similarity scores

Since someone brought it up for Francoeur, here are similarity scores
for some of this year's Braves (and a few former). First name is overall
comp, second is best comp through the player's current age:

Brian McCann - Bill DeLancey/Shanty Hogan
(Shanty was just ahead of Benito Santiago)

Adam LaRoche - Justin Morneau/Mo Vaughn
(Nice lists for Adam)

Marcus Giles - Brian Roberts/Brian Roberts
(Tony Graffanino was #4)

Chipper Jones - Jim edmonds/Gary Sheffield
(Both injury prone, but both lasted a little longer than I'd have expected)

Edgar Renteria - Mark Grudzielanek/Alan Trammell

Andruw Jones - Darryl Strawberry/Frank Robinson
(Though the Robinson comparison is pretty weak overall)

Jeff Francoeur - Brad Hawpe/Duke Snider
(discussed elsewhere)

John Smoltz - Kevin Brown/Orel hershiser
(Neither too strong given Smoltz's anomalous career)

Tim Hudson - Freddy Garcia/Jack McDowell
(Uh-oh - I actually was worried in advance that McDowell would be on
there; what's worse is that it's not jut because of this year - McDowell
has been Hudson's top comp the last three years)

Chuck James - Lou Tost/Greg Mathews
(I don't know them either)

Bob Wickman - Todd Jones/Todd Jones

Tom Glavine - Jack Morris/Warren Spahn

Greg Maddux - Tom Seaver/Tom Seaver

Julio Franco - Buddy Bell/Jim O'Rourke
(It's funny, the last two spots in the tomp ten age-comps for Julio have
scores of zero :-) )

today's creative writing assignment: in the spirit of our hilarious faq
entries, come up with "most similar intellectuals" for some of the
regular posters. for extra points, cross two unlikely candidates to
come up with an odd intersection of ideas.
