This is old news (September,29th,06)
But..he will be an adequate back-up to Rasho Nesterovic for this upcoming season. as Loren Woods has left town to the Sacrmento Kings... Career potential on sportsnet: If Trybanski can continue to add muscle while refining his game, he could be a starter. http://www2.sportsnet.ca/basketball...zary_Trybanski/ |

This dude is fodder. The Raps have 15 guaranteed contracts, so he won't make the team. They just need another big body for drills and scrimmages. Holden |

I thought the BC era was supposed to be the end of the Raps addiction to big white stiffs... apparently not. yet. |

Cezary Trybanski will make the Raptors roster when the season begins, he is one of only two natural Center's on the existent lineup, so therefore he is the most practical back-up for Rasho. There also isn't many other 7''2 Center's that are currently free agents, so this seems to be our best available option. But...Im not saying he's going to be the next premier Centre, he'll probably end up being like another one of these guys: - Robert Archibald - Mengke Bateer (spelling) Im just saying...he will be on our starting roster when we start another wonderful NBA season ![]() For all 82 games, I dont know...that's up in the air. laterz...{EC}.. |

Cheers, mate. The point was made in another thread: asbntr isn't dead, the season is just starting. And realgm does drive one up the wall, 25 excellent posters get drowned out by the hordes. Not to labour the point, but with 12 + 3, and all those guaranteed contracts Rasho Nesterovic Andrea Bargnani Chris Bosh Jorge Garbajosa Kris Humphries Joey Graham Anthony Parker P.J. Tucker Morris Peterson Fred Jones Jose Calderon T.J. Ford Darrick Martin Pape Sow Uros Slokar Cezary Trybanski One of these things doesn't belong. There was the rumour that there is a deal in place to move Slokar, and they're waiting for the window. Or Pape could get cut, with the back surgery basically eliminating him for the year. And I suppose Humphries could be a cut candidate, based on the depth at 4. But cutting Humph doesn't make any sense to me, and I could see him playing some 5, what with the reputation as a complete cut throat bastard. But outside of those scenarios, and the eating of a guaranteed contract, 16 doesn't work. We'll see. Nothing cooler than being 7'2", being paid the minimum, and logging 82 DNP-CD's. Holden |

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Probably, but we'll see who's right when the season starts to see if the first ever Polish-born player in the NBA gets any minutes with the Raps during the regular season. I have my money that he'll be on the team at some point this season, because of his 7''2 height. But we'll see ![]() laterz...{EC}.. |

I think this guy was brought in to help Bargnani adjust to playing more
C. Him going up against Nesty every practice will only give him so much exposure, but getting another body in there to mix things up will help him. Bargnani is the backup C. He's not a natural C, but the center position is the easiest to learn. I couldn't find the article but Sam Mitchell has stated that he'll be the backup C. The 5 is the easiest to learn because it's not complicated. That's perfect for a guy who has no experience. On Oct 5, 10:14 pm, "NBA_coach1" <ECthaki...@gmail.com> wrote: Quote:
