on the top three managerial prospects. This one and Miles' has been
interesting, but I would like to get a little more depth---tendencies during games, how they handle their bullpens and starting pitchers, etc. If anyone has found one, please point me toward it. Thanks. If the new manager is going to come from these three, I think it will be Girardi. However, I would expect both Piniella and him to balk at Hendry's two year status. It's possible, then, that the manager may come from outside this group. |

The Score reported yesterday that Hendry is interested in Bochy. According to rumors, Bochy and GM Kevin Towers are both going to be dismissed after the playoffs. |

Last year Sandy Alderson was hired as CEO of the Padres. The rumors out of San Diego are that he wants to put his own people in place to run the team. That includes a new GM and manager. We'll have to wait and see what happens, particularly if the Padres make an early exit. |
