Impotent Yanks dazed and confused last night. Steinbrenner's big
money has so far got them EXACTLY what he got last year, one lousy win
and then NOTHING! ALL REAL baseball fans are now Tiger fans! Tonight's
game! This time the Tigers get 8-9 runs. I admit I was wrong about last
night's game. Harwell! My favorite of all time! Also liked Red Barber
and Mel Allen from the old days. I actually can remember Indians' Jimmy
Dudley in the early 50's. Games from St. Louis use to come on ticker or
telegraph relay. weird! Announcers had to 'fake' it and would have
canned sound imatating crowd noise when some one got a big hit.
Tonight; Tigers 9-3! Adios sorry Yanks!
