Default Dog Gone!

That is, the Dodgers. The A's might have gotten the monkey off their backs,
but not the Dogs. One playoff game won since 1988.

Now, with them and the hated Yankees gone, I am comfortable with any of the
remaining teams winning the WS. I'd really love to see the Tigers take it.

It looked like they had already won it. Damn, did they celebrate a 1st
round win or what? Unexpected season, I guess, maybe they're satisfied
with it. I agree, though, with their great young pitching to match the
A's, there better hitting should make the difference. Although keeping
the WS in the Bay Area would be nice, maybe even get to attend a game,
I just can't root for Oakland.
