Default 2006 Season to Remember

A Bitter ending , but plenty to remember from 2006:

* Adrian Gonzalez
* Josh Barfield
* Chris Young
* Mike Cameron
* Mike Piazza
* Dave Roberts

Trevor Hoffman breaking the Saves Record (at home) and San
Diego winning 10 of the last 13 to grab the West from L.A.

My personal thanks to all the Regulars for the Insights and the
Camaraderie this year. YOU ARE THE BEST !

And while I'm bitter at tonight's loss, and the Padres impotent batting
in the play-offs (again), I can relish in the fact that at least they
weren't swept, like some OTHER So Cal NL team

Cardinals gave you one game, just to be good sports because we felt so
sorry for Padres losing 8 consecutive playoff games previously.

This loser has not been heard from on this group since October 2005,
when (surprise) he showed up to troll.

His own playoff experience consists of the Potato Sack race in
elementary school, when he finished last in an all-girl field. Nice
pig tails though !

Hey, Hoover.
Didn't I see you last asking Dean Wormer for just one more chance in
"Animal House" ?

The Cardinals have the classiest fans in all of sports. It's a shame you're
not among them.

Ah, but you are wrong!
I congratulate the Padres on their winning season and I'm sure the
Cardinals will battle them again in the NLDS (or NLCS) in 2007.
