Mark Fidrych.......he had a great rookie season, did something that got
people interested in baseball, gave you hope and when he retired simply
dissappeared into the woods. Things come in cycles and i hope someday if
money would mean something to him that he gets good karma. Its like the 30th
anniversary of him. They have had some news interviews i have seen over the
years on him but can't tell if he is depressed or really happy. Either way
bring him in Tigers so he can watch a game from the good seats!

He's been here several times. He was even up in the booth with Rod and
Mario during a game this year. And he does make an appearance every
year in Detroit.

Quote:
Darrell Evans #41 Detroit Tigers 1984-1989

#25 "Storming" Norman Cash and
#11 Bill Freehan.

Throw in #42 Ken Szotkiewicz because his name gave the announcers fits
and #31 Russ Nagelson because he had/has an old-time baseball sounding
name.
