Default Question for Yankee Fans

Now that Torre is staying, any speculation as to just WTF is going to happen
to this team? I can't believe it will be status quo, unless Steinbrenner
has totally gone senile.

The Yankees are going to have trouble next year with or without Torre.
Outside of Wang and possibly Mussina, there isn't a reliable starter.
Mariano will be one year older - how many more fastballs will be left
in his arm?
Long relief is questionable.
A-Rod is a head case and who knows if he'll be back or not (I think no
way).
Posada is iffy behind the plate.
Infield of Giambi, Cano, Jeter is good.
Outfield of Matsui, Damon, Abreu with Melky filling in is very good.
Bernie WIlliams would make a good reserve OF/DH if he's willing to
return (I hope he does).
So there you have it - the 2007 Yankees - Good Fielding/hitting, poor
pitching.

on the road the largest crowds of the year come to the game. why change

Do you think 4 million people came to the Stadium to see Joe Torre and
his rotting prostate?!?!?
I've been to funerals where the corpse had more personality than Joe!

Try enduring 3 100-loss years in a row and then come talk to me about

What makes you think, he had problems this year?

I think the Yankees should trade A-Rod to the Cardinals for next to
nothing. In fact, I would love for the Yankees to trade A-Rod to the
Cardinals for next to nothing.
